The role of Parliament in supporting small businesses is recognised with the unique  Federation of Small Businesses Special Award - we actively encourage small firms to nominate as well as parliamentarians. The Award will go to the researcher that has demonstrated a sound understanding of small businesses in their work, whether that is through preparation of a speech, working on behalf of an individual small business, or conducting policy research on supporting small businesses.
